Your New a.m. Pick-me-up Smoothie

Suppose this your new a.m. energizer. Different from coffee, which simply provides your body with caffeine, this smoothie combines lemon juice, kiwis, and orange juice, which are packed with vitamin C to help your body get rid of toxic free radicals—and secure safe passage for everyone who dares cross your path too early.



Ingredients:
  1. 2 kiwis, peeled, sliced 
  2. 2 cups fresh chopped kale 
  3. 2 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice 
  4. 4–5 ice cubes 
  5. 1 1/4 cups orange juice 
Instructions: 

  1. add the ingredients together and blend until smooth. 
  2. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
